The role
We are currently recruiting for a Global Marketing Director, Biomarker & Diagnostics within Precision Medicine, Oncology Global Marketing. The Global Marketing Director will be responsible for our Global Diagnostic Patient Program (Dx PPs) strategies as well as leading & participating in external pharm consortia to drive and define the field of Oncology Precision Medicine.
As Global Marketing Director, Biomarker & Diagnostics you will be responsible for developing and expanding Diagnostic Patient Program strategies for our oncology portfolio in close collaboration with Global Medical, Global Legal and Country Diagnostic functions. The rapidly expanding need for diagnostic testing of oncology patients require strong leadership and understanding of market dynamics, as well as alignment between Local, Regional and Global Diagnostic teams. The role as Global Marketing Director, Biomarker & Diagnostics is further responsible for leading, driving and participating in efforts within pharma consortia together with representatives from Marketing, Market Access, Policy & Communications etc. The overall aim is to ensure patient access to diagnostic testing, hereunder increasing awareness, drive implementation, increase payer & policy understanding etc. of new advanced NGS testing.
The position holds the opportunity and requirement to work with multiple tumors and interface with a wide range of functional areas to continuously optimize diagnostic strategies and their execution. You will drive initiatives with Diagnostic and Pharma partners in addition to our internal teams and you will be a key member of our Global Oncology Marketing Team.
This Marketing Director position requires solid knowledge of and experience with diagnostic market development and commercialization within a range of diagnostic technologies, e.g. NGS, IHC, PCR etc. The Marketing Director is expected to possess good foresight of market trends, have broad diagnostic knowledge and perspective, understand political and regulatory landscapes, be future oriented and able to articulate risk vs. benefit to create competitive, breakthrough diagnostic commercialization strategies.
