We are currently looking to recruit motivated Process Engineer to start as soon as possible or upon agreement. In this role, you will perform engineering tasks for the operations, planning, design, development, implementation, documentation and support of process optimization.
Your responsibilities:
Providing technical support to the Operations Team, especially developing, checking and evaluating operating parameters for performance improvement
Participating in the evaluation of technical equipment and paper processing machines
Coordinating multiple projects related to the process optimization while working closely with a team from fiber laboratory
Using analytical tools to monitor quality and to participate in the continuous operation
Designing manufacturing processes to optimize safety, quality, productivity and profitability of new products
Your profile:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering (Paper), Paper Engineering, Paper Technology or Chemical Engineering
Professional experience in the paper industry with good knowledge of the paper technology and paper processing
Minimum two years of work experience in a process engineering organization - fiber industry or operating pulp and paper facility
Analytical and detail-oriented personality
Fluent in German and English
Strong organizational and planning skills
Entrepreneurial spirit
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Able to communicate efficiently and effectively among various teams
Willingness to travel across Europe (up to 30%)
