My client is a group of companies focused on the tech industry. The business incubate new technologies, design and develop software, provide IT infrastructure, and offer marketing services with over 600 employees in five countries. In the process of further growth I am now looking for a highly experienced 

Group Accounting Manager - Accounting Policies and Internal Audit

As a Group Accounting Manager you will be responsible for group wide financial closing process and the correctness of the group consolidation. You will have the functional lead over all Finance offices of the Group from an Accounting perspective. Your main responsibilities will include the maintenance of accounting standards according to IFRS, including educating the employees in the locations in same and the execution of internal audits as requested by the board. In your function you will be reporting directly to the Group CFO. The role is based in Vaduz and requires the ability to travel, which can make up to 30% of the working time (home-office partially possible).

What you’ll do

• Implement IFRS accounting framework and policies


• Stay up to date with IFRS developments


• Recommend measures re IFRS to the CFO


• Teach finance staff about IFRS changes and day to day handling of issues


• Be the Group internal go-to IFRS resource


• Manage Group reporting deadlines and ensures adherence of all direct and indirect subsidiaries


• Oversee the Group consolidation


• Responsible for IC reconciliation


• Responsible for transfer pricing and tax rulings


• Write IFRS annual report


• Work hand in hand with Group Controlling


• Support in M&A Deals


• Do internal audits as tasked by the Board

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years’ experience as technical IFRS accountant or external auditor for companies reporting in IFRS


• Auditor / big 4 education


• Technical allrounder


• Open minded and forward thinking team player


• Experience in an internal audit role is considered an advantage


• Fluent English – both written and verbal, German or Spanish is considered an advantage


• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics an advantage


• Straight-talking, clear communicator with an ability to work amongst a diverse group of personalities within an international workforce
