Base: Zurich Airport

Starting date: ASAP - Upon mutual agreement

The Technical Planning Engineer is a position within the Helvetic Airways CAMO department and will support the Technical Planning and Engineering Department.

The Technical Planning Engineer reports directly to the Senior Planning Engineer and the Head of Technical Planning & Engineering Department.


Duties



  • Plan and prepare maintenance workpackages for the Helvetic Production Team.

  • Ensure the work is performed in compliance with the company rules and regulations.

  • Monitor A/C utilization against Maintenance requirements.

  • Ensure the maintenance planning is performed in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.

  • Daily review of scheduled work planned within the next 8 weeks.

  • Reviews/verifies workpackages for ground time and maintenance access requirements.

  • Continuously monitors manpower qualifications, materials, tooling and hangar availability.

  • Ensure an equalized planning.

  • Attends handover meetings as required.

  • Controls any re-planning actions.

  • Prepare Base Maintenance workpackage and liaise with the contracted Maintenance facility.

  • Assist the production team /LMC/OCC/Engineering team with queries regarding workpackages/Ground times.


Candidates must have



  • Previous Aircraft Technical Planning experience.

  • Knowledge of Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS and Human Factors and Part M.

  • Aircraft Familiarization training to level 1 standard on Fokker 100 or E190 would be desirable

  • Knowledge of AMOS software would be desirable.

  • Completion of a Mandatory School Education to a good standard.

  • Team player, flexible and committed.

  • Reliable with a systematic way of working.

  • Candidate must be willing to work early and late shifts.

  • Fluent written and spoken English, German is desirable.
