What it's about


The Corporate Legal team acts as legal partner to and the stakeholders within the Group and provides legal advice on a wide variety of legal matters with a strong focus on enabling the business units whilst safeguarding the Group's interests and reputation. Its internal clients include, amongst others, the COO and General Counsel, the Executive Committee, the local offices, the business units Operations, Structuring, Human Resources, Technology, Finance, Tax and Corporate Communications.


 


Due to a temporary absence, the Corporate Legal team is now looking for a lawyer to join the team temporarilyas a Legal Counsel, with a special focus on the Group's legal matters in the EMEA region.


 


The Legal Counsel's responsibilities will include:



  • Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and approving a broad range of agreements in the legal areas corporate and commercial, employment, stock exchange, finance and financial services law, and intellectual property law in the EMEA region

  • Supporting the EMEA Corporate Legal responsible as well as the entire Corporate Legal team in a number of legal and organizational tasks and projects

  • Ensuring compliance with Swiss stock exchange and listing rules

  • Supporting the Corporate Legal team in investigation, pre-litigation and litigation matters

  • Supporting Partners Group's trademark and intellectual property rights


 


What we expect



  • at least 3 years of professional legal experience in an internationally orientated law firm or in the financial services industry

  • Master law degree, Swiss bar exam preferred

  • Strong ability to work efficiently and independently

  • Excellent legal and analytical skills with solid experience in contract drafting and corporate law

  • Strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, collaboration, and time management skills 

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A keen interest in contributing to the team’s success

  • Fluency in English and preferrably in German as well
