In order to support Debiopharm International organization and people development, to bring values and key competencies to life, and to maximize business performance, we are currently looking for a


Learning & Development Manager


based in Lausanne and reporting to the Senior Executive HR Director.


Your main responsibilities:



  • Define and lead Learning and Talent Management related HR projects

  • Conceptualise, build and roll out appropriate training programmes addressing development needs across the group

  • Create a learning strategy and curriculum to embed the organisation’s key values

  • Regularly audit and assess current training & consulting vendors taking into account employees’ feed-back

  • Drive vendors identification and request for proposals process

  • Ensure smooth running of existing Training Programs delivered by third parties

  • Organize and facilitate Talent Reviews and coach managers in the talent management and succession planning process

  • Coach managers in the development of individual development plans for top talents

  • Partner with external training providers to deliver development programmes that build business capability

  • Deliver workshops and training programmes internally

  • Ensure clarity on expectations of outcomes and measure the effectiveness of every learning intervention using the most appropriate methods

  • Ensure continual improvement in the quality of learning interventions

  • Manage engagement and poll survey delivery, results analysis and follow up actions

  • Build and manage training budget

  • Coordinate Training participation, scheduling and delivery.


Your profile:



  • University degree with post-graduate L&D qualifications

  • Experienced L&D Specialist with a proven track record in the conceptualisation and delivery of high impact learning journeys

  • Extensive relevant experience of leading the L&D agenda in a mid-sized international organisation

  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to proactively contribute to the overall HR agenda

  • Ability to take on other HR accountabilities outside of L&D (ie. HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations,etc)

  • Sound background in HR business partnering, ability to support and coach managers

  • Ability to propose innovative programmes and achieve buy-in from all levels of stakeholders

  • Experience of workshop delivery, excellent presentation skills

  • Adaptable profile, ability to work on high profile projects as well as handling daily operational tasks

  • Previous experience of selecting and coordinating suppliers and a strong L&D network is necessary

  • Fluent English and French

  • Availability for a quick start would be advantageous

  • Strategic and innovative thinking

  • Strong Project Management, organization and planning skills
