The Position


The Laboratory Software Solutions International Business team provides innovative software solutions to the market. These solutions offer the ultimate virtual backbone for our customers (Diagnostic Laboratories) to realize a high level of integration of their sample and data workflows in order to drive better patient care.


As an International Product Manager in this team, you have the unique opportunity to be accountable in shaping the current and future product portfolio from design to launch to on-market management

As an International Product Manager for Laboratory Software Solutions, your main responsibilities will include: (but not be limited to)



  • Systematic commercial development of the product line and ensuring the continuous success of the products throughout their lifecycle.

  • Provide on-market product support and guidance to the affiliates and other business units in terms of product segmentation, positioning and objection handling.

  • Gather, refine, analyze and prioritize requirements from existing & potential customers and other business units.

  • Act as key interface for regions and customers with respect to addressing and resolving their concerns regarding respective solutions/products

  • Negotiate the vision of the product and priority of requirements with alignment across all impacted stakeholders.

  • Analyze the competitive landscape for assigned product; monitor and incorporate industry innovations.

  • Identify portfolio gaps and provide inputs towards the creation & maintenance of the portfolio roadmap.

  • Manage strategic relationship with 3rd party development partners as well as the Product Care and Quality Team

To be successful in this role (you have to):



  • A strong understanding of software solutions & technologies in the context of Diagnostics or Industrial process management.

  • Between 3-5 years of proven experience in Product Management and/or Marketing in ‘Software for Healthcare segment’ or work experience in a Diagnostic Laboratory. Other experiences like Country product management, Sales, Customer service, Support Functions, Laboratory, Development, etc. would be beneficial.

  • Proven strategic agility and ability to react adapt to and influence changing situations.

  • Capable of understanding complex scientific or technical issues/customer problems and effectively translating them into portfolio solutions.

  • Excellent leadership skills within cross-functional team, in a global matrix environment to be able to be an individual contributor with the ability to be a functional leader.
