Tasks



  • Manage complex IT projects and perform business analysis in the context of energy trading and production with focus of Swiss hydro plant optimization and short term power trading

  • Support the strategic development of the IT solutions in this domain in close collaboration with the business stakeholders and IT team members like application experts and architects

  • Manage scope, budget, resources, timelines of projects and chair steering committees

  • Get the "big picture" including end to end understanding of the processes and propose pragmatic steps towards acceleration, automation and digitalization

  • Manage software vendors (offers, contracts, quality controls)


Profile



  • Bachelor or Master in IT, engineering, economics or similar

  • At least 3-5 years of work experience as a project manager (project duration above 6 months) and business analyst

  • Work experience in the energy sector preferred, ideally within a trading environment and with a focus on process change and transformation

  • Strong organization and proritization skills

  • Ability to deal with high levels of complexity, excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluency in German and English is an absolute must
