ROLE 


 



  • Developing new inkjet inks according to strategy from R&D stage to industrialization

  • Becoming the technical responsible for a part of product portfolio, being able to support manufacturing, operations and customers

  • Exploring new applications and concepts of digital printing in the business fields of the company

  • Collaborating efficiently with other services within the company (R&D, marketing, sales, manufacturing) to assure fast and efficient project implementation

  • Keeping track of developments through accurate documentation

  • Being able to travel to visit customers, or support printing tests ( Maximum 10 % of the time)


 


PROFILE


 



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inkjet inks formulation for drop on demand piezo printheads, preferably for waterbased inks (experience in UV curable inks is welcomed).

  • Confirmed experience in industrialization of inkjet inks, from raw materials selection to milling technologies and filtration

  • Demonstrated capability of using dedicated laboratory instrumentation like drop watchers and print stations

  • Capable of running several R&D projects with full autonomy as project manager, according to laboratory/security inks service objectives

  • Basic understanding of analogue printing and coating technologies is a must

  • Experience in continuous inkjet or basic knowledge of simple system integration (software, electronics, printheads) is considered as a plus

  • Capable of remain lucid and calm under stress conditions

  • Team player, able to communicate openly and to accept discussions with fairness and keen to be challenged 

  • At ease in adapting to changing priorities related to projects and customers

  • Capable of communicating/ presenting sensitive information both internally and externally

  • University degree in science or engineering (bachelor degree minimum)

  • Good command of English (minimum B2)
