This includes the following responsibilities:



  • Perform a subset of all the hardware engineering activities required to develop a solution / product achieving customer satisfaction of the delivered solution / product.

  • Responsible for thermal engineering (thermal concept and architecture) and thermal analysis within TAS-CH projects.

  • Support  thermal testing of TAS-CH product. Definition of test criteria and preparation of appropriate data for the test or, if necessary, carrying out individual tests himself/herself. Evaluation of test results and correlation of  the corresponding models.

  • Establish thermal design descriptions, thermal modelling and simulations technical reports

  • Liaise with Line Managers and project core team

  • Act as WP Manager in selected projects for thermomechanical engineering activities, being responsible for outputs, deadlines and budget for the given WP. Manages and coordinates internal teams performing a work package. Liaises with the Project Manager and his Head of Discipline for all aspects relating to his work package.


Your background and skills:



  • Master degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar

  • Proven experience with thermal design of satellites and platforms  from concept design to AIT phase

  • Proven experience with thermal design and analysis of opto-mechanical and opto-electronics instruments

  • Proven experience with thermal design and analysis of mechanisms and electronics equipment

  • Proven experience in thermal modelling and analysis with ESATAN-TMS and THERMICA

  • Proven experience in thermal modelling and analysis with NX Space Systems Thermal (+ TMG thermal solver)

  • Experience in defining Procurement Specifications for Thermal Hardware (heat-pipes, MLI, SLI, heaters, thermistors, OSR, etc…)

  • Experience in Satellite Equipment Thermal Testing

  • Experience in Satellite Thermal Balance Testing is an asset

  • Experience in Satellites Thermal Architecting is an asset

  • Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English;  French is an advantage.

  • Pronounced self-motivation and commitment in connection with a strong sense of responsibility and reliability

  • Pronounced communication skills and proven experience in working in international environment
