The Director Service Marketing EMEA is accountable for development and life cycle management of the Service Solutions product portfolio for both QIAGEN and 3rdParty Service businesses, including both direct business and Commercial Partners with a focus on Europe, Middle East and Africa. Besides generation of marketing concepts, the position drives planning and monitoring of Service Solutions revenues and guides operational teams to achieve set goals. Works closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales and Service Solutions teams, Product- and Marketing- Management functions on global, regional and country level. Ensures timely and pro-active communication to internal and external customers. This position will report directly to the VP, Service & Solutions.
This is a multilocation position, therefore the position/ candidate will be base in countries across EUROPE.
Education:
· Master degree or equivalent in Business administration/ sciences.
· At least 7 yrs work experience in relevant area
· Excellent knowledge of IT applications (MS office programs, CRM software (currently SFDC), ERP software (currently SAP).
Experience:
· Min of 7 years of relevant professional experience required.
· Experience of working with Commercial Partners
Interpersonal and technical skills:
· Demonstrated strong business acumen.
· Ability to structure tasks, design and plan problem solving strategies, successfully applies procedural thinking.
· Proven project management skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all business levels
· Enjoys working in team settings. Experience in a multinational and multicultural environment.
· Embraces change as opportunity.
· Fluent Business English (oral and writing)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Functional lead of Service Marketing
Travel:
· Significant travel required (up to 30%) during onboarding phase (~3 months) up to 90%
