SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ASSOCIATE - R&D (M/F/D)

Als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter führst Du eine Vielzahl von wissenschaftlichen Aktivitäten durch, um die Entwicklung, Wartung, Verbesserung und das Verständnis unserer Produkte und Reagenzproduktionsprozesse zu unterstützen. Du führst Experimente durch, generierst und analysierst Daten und präsentierst die Ergebnisse den (internationalen) Teamkollegen.

In unserer ISO-zertifizierten Tochterfirma in Bern sind zurzeit 52 Mitarbeiter in Forschung und Entwicklung, Produktion, Logistik, Verpackung und Marketing beschäftigt. In der Abteilung Forschung und Entwicklung kümmern wir uns um die Entwicklung neuer Testmethoden und die Verbesserung bestehender immundiagnostischer Tests für unsere Sparte Livestock, Poultry and Dairy.

ZU DIESER POSITION GEHÖREN FOLGENDE AUFGABEN

• Die Ausführung verschiedener Aufgaben im Labor, die unseren Wissenschaftlern als Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung von neuen Produkten und Prozessen dienen


• Das Design und die Planung  von Versuchen, die Vorbereitung von Materialien, die Erhebung von Daten und die Erstellung und Auswertung von verschiedenen Analysen


• Die Dokumentation von Experimenten und anderen Verfahren innerhalb des Labors


• Die Entwicklung und Empfehlung von neuen Verfahren und Methoden


• Die Planung und Teilnahme an Team Aktivitäten


• Die eigenständige Bestellung und Verwaltung von Materialien und Equipment


• Die Zusammenarbeit und Kommunikation mit Kollegen, um Informationen auszutauschen und effiziente Prozesse zu gewährleisten.


• Die Sicherstellung der Kenntnisse über Produkte, Verfahren und das regulatorische Umfeld

• Biologielaboranten mit einem Minimum an 5 Jahren Erfahrung berücksichtigen wir auch sehr gerne bei der Auswahl

As a Research Associate you will perform a variety of scientific activities to support the development, maintenance, improvement and understanding of our products and reagent production processes. You will plan and perform experiments in the lab,analyze data and present results to (international) team colleagues.

Our ISO-certified subsidiary in Bern currently employs 52 people in research and development, production, logistics, packaging and marketing. In the research and development department, we develop new test methods and improve existing immunodiagnostic tests for our Livestock, Poultry and Dairy division.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• perform various tasks in the laboratory to support our scientists in the development of new products and processes.


• plan anddesign experiments, prepare materials, collect data and prepare and evaluate various analyses.


• document experiments and other procedures within the laboratory.


• develop and recommend new procedures and methods.


• plan and participate in team activities.


• independently order and manage materials and equipment.


• design and perform experiments as well as gather data and carry out analysis to reach conclusions.


• collaborate and communicate with colleagues and others in related areas to provide work support, exchange information and ensure efficient processes.


• maintain knowledge of products, procedures and regulatory environment.

We are looking for a Bachelors (Masters) degree or an experienced Biologielaborant with 5-7 years’ experience in a lab environment.
