We are looking for a motivated and well experienced System Design Engineer who will be working in a global corporate environment with numerous interfaces and stakeholders. In the global service center for MV-Drives embedded in the Headquarter for special purpose MV-Drives you’ll be working within a factory environment and you will have a close collaboration with Product Mangement, Product Engineering and R&D. You’ll be taking responsibility to evaluate system design capabilities within our modernization projects.

Your responsibilities

• System Design evaluation for MV-Drives


• Formulating specifications for system components (drive, transformer, motor, filter)


• Analyzing and clarifying customer requirements


• Planning and executing Hardware-in-the-loop realtime simulations


• Ensuring state of the art solutions by collaborating with product management, Sales and R&D. Participating and giving inputs on process improvements


• Creating all the necessary documents for the execution of upgrade/modernization projects


• Continuous education and training to expand ownpersonal knowledge and skills

Your background

• • Masters degree e.g. in Electrical Engineering


• Knowledge in System Design or System Engineering for drives and related components


• Technical knowhow in power electronics and ability to practically apply it


• Structured and solution oriented working style, decisive, innovative


• Fluent in English, German language beneficial, other languages an asset


• Good communication skills and cultural sensitivity
