Autodesk’s Preconstruction product group is hiring a Product Owner to lead the prioritization and execution of development efforts for some wonderfully capable scrum teams. These teams are focused on reducing risk and ensuring efficiency of Preconstruction workflows in the Construction industry.As Product Owner, you will partner with business stakeholders and Product Managers to understand, analyse, refine, prioritize and communicate the right market needs, and then work with the product team to execute them. Doing this successfully requires customer engagement, subject matter expertise efficient decision making, relationship building, clear backlog definition, excellent communication skills, and passion.
Based in Gumligen, Switzerland, just outside of Bern, this individual contributor role reports to the Product Management leader of the product group, and is collocated with the scrum teams. Interested candidates must be interested to make this breath-taking spot in the world home.
Responsibilities
Leverage industry experience and customer engagement to specify the outcomes and priorities for product investments by agile development teams
Apply technology expertise in collaboration with the team to craft the product experiences that meet those investment outcomes
Lead the ongoing agile process of the scrum teams, utilizing agile software planning tools, and ensuring that development work meets the investment outcomes
Build partnerships with Product Management team and stakeholders to refine and communicate overall product strategy to engineering, product leadership, and customers
Understand product usage trends through qualitative and quantitative analytics methods in order to inform product investment decisions
Have a public presence in online communities to engage and support customers using Autodesk solutions in Preconstruction
Minimum Qualifications
Extensive experience in the construction industry, with work directly involving the preconstruction phase of Projects
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety construction software technologies/tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to adapt style to a varying audience
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to understand large problems, and decompose the solution into incremental pieces
Understanding of the agile software development process
English fluency in verbal and written forms
Preferred Qualifications
Good experience in the software development industry
German fluency in verbal and written forms
