Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Act as a strategic Business Partner for the Swiss / Austrian organization

  • Support of the General Manager and other members of the leadership team

  • Partner with the Swiss / Austrian Leadership Team on critical aspects on the business integration

  • Driving organizational changes (re-organizations) for both in market countries (CHAT)

  • Partner with local and global HR colleagues on cross-functional initiatives to build and implement HR programs and policies.

  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives in line with global and market business strategies.

  • Support the implementation of the HR operating model in Switzerland and Austria

  • Drive programs that attract, retain and develop competitively superior leaders and team members

  • Proactively drive the talent strategy to develop talent, strengthen and diversify the talent pipeline for critical roles

  • Leveraging the organizational and cultural strategies to support ongoing innovation and change

  • Manage change with communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Managing strong industrial relations across our Austrian WC teams

  • Member of the local Leadershipteam


Skills/Knowledge Required:



  • Strong identification with BMS values

  • Bachelor’s/Master Degree

  • Minimum of 10 years HR experience, preferably in an international environment

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence amongst different levels, functions and geographies

  • Experience in pharmaceuticals being an advantage

  • Fluent in German and English.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated client leadership as a business partner.

  • Strong solution-orientation and pragmatism

  • A quick thinker with a positive mindset.

  • Strong teamplayer
