Director Global Hospital Business (f/m) 100%
Your responsibilities
Direct reporting line: Chief Marketing Officer
Supervisory responsibilities: Heads of Global Product Marketing Hospital
The Director Global Hospital Business owns the responsibility of the Hospital Business and the insights driven product roadmap development. This also includes leadership of global product lifecycle management in collaboration with supporting functions.
Upstream marketing
Define long-term portfolio strategy and roadmap inclusive of product positioning and value proposition
Develop comprehensive business plans for key initiatives in alignment with the regions
Work closely with R&D on upstream product development projects. Driving them through the innovation process from idea until launch
Outline key research needs in line with business objectives
Product management
Active key stakeholder in the areas of pricing strategy, promotion assets creation and placement.
Lead product marketing activities for the whole portfolio inclusive of product lifecycle management, insights driven product roadmaps, long term portfolio and business vision.
Owner of the hospital budget, responsible for tracking and reporting.
MDR preparation
Driving Value based healthcare
Develop solutions which drive HCP efficiency and greater consumer satisfaction
Develop alternative business models
Improve hospital protocols and drive new standards of care
People management and collaboration
Manager and coach of managers, lead and coach the team members according the HR processes (Recruiting, Performance Evaluation, Target setting, Talent Management etc.)
Actively engage with senior management and with regions to ensure aligned objectives and prioritites
Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory functions to ensure that all known quality and regulatory requirements for the whole product portfolio are fulfilled
Your qualifications
Master’s degree in public health, business administration or a related field required
Experience in management of clinical services preferred
At least 15 years of experience in a global and complex role with at least 2 years of experience managing managers
Knowledge of clinical, regulatory, reimbursement and audit issues
Experience in healthcare (medical device is a plus)
Experience in upstream marketing, working on product development with R&D
Experience in building new hospital protocols
