At our Headquarters in Baar we are looking for a Project Sourcing Manager who will be acting as the "interface" between sourcing and project/product development, marketing, innovation and other teams. The main focus as the sole representative of the purchasing function, is to drive and lead the strategic sourcing scope on projects.

Your responsibilities
Ensure sourcing relevant actions are carried out on time and propose corrective actions if needed
Support strategic category organization with project related contract negotiations with partners and suppliers
Proactively evaluate opportunities around new technologies, innovations etc. during the relevant project phases
Prepare and provide project relevant input on the analysis of global /regional quotation requests, proposals, supplier selections etc. and ensure continuous flow of communication between internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to the success of projects by promoting the importance of the purchasing function during decision-phases
Ensure clear communication of the project requirements to the strategic sourcing organization and lead the sourcing within the addressed category or product range
Act as technology scout in collaboration with the strategic category organization to support the project team with market input on available resources, technologies, and potential supplier partnerships
Design and provide project reports to relevant teams on a regular basis
Provide risk assessments on all fields related to sourcing
Plan and check development plans against project related sourcing plans and suppliers
Your qualifications
Master degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar
Knowledge of Quality Systems related to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016
5-7 years experience as Industrial Project Purchaser
Experience in working in an international environment as well as regulated environment (medical devices) with global objectives
Good language skills in German and English (verbal and written)
Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and to handle high stress levels effectively
Creative mindset and ability to collaborate with others in order to increase the performance
Sensible and empathetic personality with excellent communication and influencing skills
Strong analytical skills with focus on essentials facts
