The role of the European Enjoyable Refreshment & Innovation Lead will report directly to the Marketing Director Refreshment Europe and will be leading all aspects of brand equity development for Trident brand family incl Dirol/First in collaboration with Global team and to drive growth through the Refreshment Innovation agenda on our Core (Simple Refresh), Sensations and Simple Natural.

The European Enjoyable Refreshment & Innovation Lead will constantly enrich and implement MEU Refreshment strategy, leveraging existing and new consumer trends. Together with 2 direct reports she/he will be leading a cross functional project team, manages the whole innovation process, from identification of opportunity areas to pre-launch business proposition.


Key responsibilities:



  • Equity Trident/Dirol/First brand family



    • Developing and maintaining the brand foundations in collaboration with GAT: positioning, purpose; developing creative campaign and packaging

    • Communicating the brand foundations elements to marketers

    • Developing Integrated Marketing Communication strategy for the brand to attract GenZ (growth) and Millenials (core) consumers

    • Leading Brand Equity Core Team 


  • Strategic Growth Platforms



    • Owning the innovation strategy & pipeline with focus on Simple Freshness (Core, entry point to category), Sensations (sensorial offers) and Simple Natural Segments

    • Identifying new growth opportunities and translating them into winning bundles

    • Leading innovation projects from ideation to post launch analysis, maximising the probability of success

    • Contributing to the successful creation and development of the segment in store across EU


  • Snacking Made Right Gum&Candy lead and representative in cross category forums

  • Development, leadership and coaching of 2 direct reports.


Qualifications



  • University degree in marketing or similar field

  • 15+ years of marketing experience at regional and local scope

  • Experience in Gum & Candy category

  • Experience in emerging markets

  • Minimum 8 years in FMCG industry

  • Significant experience in developing and marketing brands & product innovations at cross-country level

  • 5+ years of management and cross-functional experience

  • Experience working with French, Spanish and Russian FMCG brands and teams

  • Experience managing creative, design & innovation agencies

  • Fluency in English is mandatory

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point

  • Flexibility to operate in a continuous changing business environment.
