For the European Headquarter, based in Winterthur (Switzerland), we are looking for an


HR Generalist 60-100% (maternity leave coverage until 30.05.2021)

In this multifaceted position, you will provide Human Resources support to functional units in close cooperation with the HR Director and HR Business Partner. You will deliver HR services and support to internal and external clients, supporting interaction with business partners, Compensation & Benefits and HRIS, Learning & Development and Corporate HR. In addition, you will support recruiting efforts, attract and successfully place highly competent and successful candidates.


Your main responsibilities:


  • Assist and support the HR team in all administrative work; is responsible for correct filing

  • Act as the main point of information for administrative queries from employees

  • Help to deal with new members of staff or those who are leaving

  • Enter/maintain all necessary data to Zimmer Biomet’s HR systems

  • Prepare reports, presentations, business communications, data summaries, and other documents of both a recurring and non-recurring nature

  • Perform moderately complex analyses of data to draw inferences or conclusion

  • Develop and implement HR best practices of the department’s policy, procedures, and processes

  • Assist HRBP in identifying talents, ensuring succession planning and foreseeing organizational development needs

  • In a regular turn host the Introduction day for new team-members


Your Qualifications and Experience:


  • Commercial apprenticeship or higher education

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the Human Resources department in a similar role, ideally in an international company

  • Solid and broad HR knowledge (Hiring for different business function, levels and profiles, HR best practices/tools/processes, HR Dev., Swiss labor law, C&B etc.)

  • Good presentation skills or the aim to develop in that area

  • Sound user knowledge of SAP HR/HCM

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Fluent in German and English – any other language is an asset

  • Able to work in a cross-cultural environment

  • Very good communicator with strong social competencies

  • Team player with a positive customer-oriented attitude

  • High level of energy, personal accountability and integrity
