Junior Account Manager 100% (m/f)


Job Description


We are looking for an organized, efficient Junior Account Manager to be responsible for assisting the sales department in gaining and keeping customers.


The Junior Account Manager's responsibilities include tracking sales leads, coordinating quotes within the sales team, providing customer service, and managing customer accounts. You will use your communication skills to identify and address clients’ needs while representing our company in a positive way.


Ultimately, you will contribute to building profitable, long-term relationships with our clients to reach our business objectives.


Your responsibilities include:



  • Answering customer inquiries, scheduling meetings and sales appointments, and following up with customers about their order status.

  • Compiling a daily list of sales leads, delegating leads to the sales department, and providing sales data and guides to the sales department.

  • Creating and processing orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Managing customer accounts, following up with customers, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems.

  • Gather information on assigned clients (e.g. company size, needs and pricing plans)

  • Provide after-sales support to retain customers

  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries

  • Build strong client relationships, through regular communication

  • Report on the status of accounts

  • Communicate product and pricing details clearly

  • Coordinate with Account Executives and Account Managers to create customized sales plans for key clients


Qualifications



  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field or work experience

  • Proven work experience as a Junior Account Manager, relevant sales role or customer service will be an advantage

  • Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Solid experience with common MS Office Systems and products

  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills in German and English is mandatory

 

  • Experience in a high paced work environment

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills.

  • Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

  • The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus

  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills

  • High degree of professionalism

  • Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
