We are looking for a stellar International Accounting Manager to join our team! Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be a trusted partner, working with various aspects of the finance department, including general ledger accounting, monthly reporting, accounting operations, systems, audit, and tax. You will build strong relationships across all departments in the Company, instilling a culture of strong communication and partnership with finance. This position will coordinate closely with our finance teams in Utah and California as well as Degreed personnel in Europe, Asia Pacific and India.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile subsidiary financial statements on a monthly basis in accordance with US GAAP. Understand the transactions required to conform local GAAP financial statements to US GAAP.
Lead our international expansion efforts—including entity setup, regulatory compliance, process improvement, ROI calculations, SaaS metrics, payroll, benefits, , etc.
Review reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
Conduct monthly and quarterly financial review and audit tasks, such as customer contract review, and balance sheet reviews.
Coordinate various tax filings and payments, specifically related to GST / VAT.
ASC 606: Assist with revenue recognition and other technical accounting matters.
Complete external audit requests by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
Ownership of subsidiary cash management, collections, and accounts payable.
Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist in the annual budgeting and planning process.
Complies with all international and local protocols including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
REQUIREMENTS
This is an extraordinary opportunity for an International Accounting Manager with four to seven years of accounting and finance experience, ideally beginning in accounting and audit, followed by experience gathering, evaluating, presenting and reporting financial information to executive teams and external stakeholders.
Degree in accounting or finance, Master’s Degree desirable.
Chartered Accountant preferred.
4-7 years of accounting experience.
SaaS software experience highly preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment.
Self-directed and self-motivated but a strong and collaborative communicator.
