Your position

You will join a talented engineering team focused on building a high quality product. Our engineers have a continuous delivery oriented mindset. They come up with ideas to improve the product, they prototype them and see them through in production and measure their impact. Your position entails a high level of responsibility within the engineering team. As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Design, implement and validate solutions for new features in our different systems


• Maintain the highest code quality standards and help the team to improve its best practices in development 


• Write maintainable, elegant and testable code 


• Contribute to the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines 


• Work with an agile iterative/incremental mindset 

Your profile

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering


• BSc or MSc in Computer Science (or equivalent)


• Very strong technical background, with clear focus on web technologies


• Strong programming skills and ability to code in TypeScript and Node.JS


• Expertise with at least one SQL database (Postgres, MySQL, …)


• Deep understanding on how to build cloud native software in AWS


• Experience with serverless, Lambda, CDK, DynamoDB and Docker containers is a big plus


• Knowledge of event driven architecture and event buses is highly valued


• Teamwork and collaboration is part of your DNA


• You take initiatives and have a «can-do» attitude


• Strong motivation for complex challenges and learning new technologies


• You are fluent in English


• You have a Swiss / EU passport or a work permit for Switzerland
