The Mobiliar Lab for Analytics is dedicated to investigating and improving human-machine interactions by the means of digital interventions and advanced analytics. It is a joint venture of the Swiss Mobiliar Insurance and ETH Zurich and is part of ETH's Chair of Technology Marketing in the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (MTEC). The lab is hiring a Research Assistant in Eye Tracking Data Analysis and Machine Learning.
The research assistant will focus on a project aimed at the validation of eye tracking data generated during past experiments, the design of feature extraction pipelines and the training of machine learning models using the validated eye tracking data.
The project will start in July 2020, at the earliest. The length of the project is 8 weeks.
Applicants should have successfully completed (or be about to complete) a Master degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or a related field combined with solid experience in data analytics and machine learning. They have proven experience in working with Python or R. They are fluent in English and have a good knowledge (or higher) of German. Previous experience with eye tracking data analysis and their use in machine learning modeling is an advantage.
