We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibility in this role is to define the cost structure and drive the sourcing desicisions. Your sourcing strategies will be based on your sourcing market analysis. Main tasks include:

• Recognize and gather stakeholder needs


• Cooperate with and support technical offices (incl. Group R&D)


• Defines sourcing strategies and potentials (e.g. standardization, bundling, BCC sourcing, etc.)


• Implement defined strategies in coordination with other functions where applicable


• Monitors and controls the implementation of sourcing strategies


• Performs regular benchmarks of the assigned categories


• Monitor evaluate and develop supplier performance (reliability, quality and cost)


• Identifies cost reduction opportunities together with supply base


• Defines and manages contracts with selected supply base

You are a self starting and experienced professional with strong negotiation and communication skills and a strong technical background. Further requirements include:

• Thoroughness and financial awareness in evaluating costs, benefits and impacts


• Thorough knowledge of supply market


• Business case development skills


• Technical know-how of machined parts (for example drives) and project, commission-based execution
