Your mission :

GMF and IPESE from EPFL are looking for a prominent scientist (post doc or PhD) with an engineering background to develop research in the field of the development of Perovskite solar cells with high throughput production techniques. The work will mainly concern the development of an integrated approach for developing, testing and producing Perovskite cells systems.


Main duties and responsibilities include :



  • How to make Perovskite cells production automatic in the perspective of high throughput experiements.

  • How to integrate machine learning and design of experiments in automatic production line.

  • How to extrapolate to the large scale the production lines.

  • How to integrate life cycle environmental impact criteria in the integrated design of Perovskite cells and their production processes.


Your profile :

The candidate will be integrated in a multi-disciplinary research team that targets the development and the demonstration of a high throughput Perovskite cell production line to be used in a research and development environment.



Expected profile : talented researcher with engineering background with skills in advanced manufacturing, automation and machine learning
