Site Supply Chain Manager

As Site Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure reliable, stable and state-of-the-art local Supply Chain processes in close, cross functional collaboration with local and external partners (e.g. logistic providers) following our strategy, targets and leadership principles. You will be based in Dübendorf reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

You will:


 


Supply Chain Operations:


 



  • Safety: Guide local projects in the Supply Chain area to support site goals in the area of Environment, Health and Safety. Leading by example and evolving a 'safety first' mindset across the organization are important elements

  • Quality: Ensure a improvement mentality in the local Supply Chain team with a clear 'zero defects' ambition. Support local and regional projects under the 'Engrained Quality' umbrella

  • Service: Manage internal Supply Chain functions and processes to bring 3rd party customer and inter-company service at or above target levels (i.e. on-time-to-request and in-full)

  • Cost and Budget ownership: Manage Supply Chain cost (i.e. Freight, Write-off's, PEX) at local level and across cost centers through close collaboration with Manufacturing and regional Supply Chain functions

  • Cash-Flow: Drive inventory improvement projects in collaboration with local and regional partners to increase inventory accuracy and optimize inventory levels overall

  • Customer Centricity: Be an ambassador of a customer-centric  mindset across local departments. Create an agile Supply Chain


 


Execution Excellence:


 



  • Lead local change management for regional and global improvement activities

  • Monitor SCM performance (including KPI cockpit and targets)


 


Leadership and Talent management:


 



  • Lead different teams (Warehouse, Planning, Transport and Trade Affairs) in the local Supply Chain organisation 

  • Provide coaching and functional direction to direct reports

  • Hire local SCM staff and responsible for goals setting, evaluation and development

  • Develop local talents together with Operations Manager Zurich & Head EAME Supply Chain

You have:


 



  • An advanced university degree (M. Sc / MBA) in economy, finance or business management

  • Experience of 5 years in a comparable environment (make to order manufacturing, high number of SKUs, international customer and supplier base) 

  • At least 3 years experience in a broader leadership position

  • Good Knowledge of supply Chain Management concepts, processes and related hands-on implementation experience

  • Business fluent in English and German. Other languages (e.g.French) a plus

  • Project management expertise

  • Knowledge of LEAN or Six-Sigma methodology is a plus

  • Experienced in communication and presentation

  • High drive and passion
