Supply Chain Europe is an end to end P&L corporate function within the Schindler Group and is organized into 4 production sites plus a central function department and employs around 1000 employees throughout Europe. In such a challenging and complex context the HR Business Partner for the Locarno and Ebikon sites is a member of the local management team and acts as reliable business partner on topics such as people development, organization design, employee relations and HR operational support ensuring business success through skilled and motivated high-quality people. The main tasks in this role include:


 



  • Leading the implementation and execution of HR plans, projects and strategies in partnership with the local plant business leaders,

  • Identifying areas of intervention and development to improve processes, increasing the efficiency of the function and developing the local management leadership skills through an accurate analysis of the plants HR KPIs

  • Acting as main point of contact for the local teams in terms of assistance and guidance on HR topics and leadership development

  • Acting as a key player and reliable business partner on topics such as organization effectiveness and workforce planning through a deep knowledge and understanding of the business requirements and strategy

  • Leading and facilitating HR annual processes like performance management, development reviews, talent review meetings and calibration sessions

  • Main point of contact for the local employee commission

  • Promoting and ensuring a trustful and transparent communication with the local Employee Commision and all employees based on the sites

  • Accurately managing and monitoring the yearly functional approved budget

  • Acting as role model for the group values and actively seeking best in class performance

  • Promoting a diverse inclusive work environment to strive the highest standards of performance

  • Acting with highest integrity in every situation

You are a self-starting and strategic thinking HR professional who drives vision and purpose and who cultivates innovation. You have the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity and you possess a strong customer focus and business insight. Further requirements may include:


 



  • Higher education in Business Administration, Law or Psychology with a Masters Degree in Human Resources considered a plus

  • Between 8 and 10 years of experience as HR Business Partner in a multinational complex organization with a strong HR Generalist background

  • Proven track record in fast pace complex organization and evolving contexts  

  • Fluent knowledge of Italian is a must

  • Very good knowledge of English; intermediate knowledge of German is a plus

  • Familiar with the main IT tools
