Celonic is a privately owned Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with two state-of-the-art sites located at Basel, Switzerland (headquarters) and Heidelberg, Germany.

Celonic provides comprehensive GMP development and manufacturing services for New Biological Entities (NBEs) and Biosimilars, as well as Cell & Gene Therapy associated services worldwide. Their portfolio includes the development of cell lines, production processes, as well as non-GMP and GMP manufacturing of biopharmaceutical drug substances and drug product. Currently there are over 300 highly qualified employees working at the two sites of Celonic. Because of the expansion of the company, Celonic is looking for dedicated and qualified employees.

For support of our CLD Team at our Basel site (Switzerland) we are looking for a

Laboratory Technician / Technical Assistant (f/m/d) Cell Line Development

 

 Your area of responsibility:

• Performing experiments in Cell Line Development according to SOPs and experimental protocols (e.g. standard cell culture, transfection of cells)


• Performing experiments in molecular biology (plasmid Maxi-prep, Mini-prep, plasmid cloning, PCR)


• Maintenance of host cell lines


• Taking care of the management of frozen cell stocks


• Manage the lab storage of consumables


• Maintain lab equipment  (e.g. incubators, biological safety cabinets, pipettes)


• Accurate documentation of performed experiments

 Your skills & qualification:

• Completed education as Laboratory Technician, BTA, MTA or CTA (f/m/d)


• First experience in cultivation of cells / sterile working preferred


• First experience in plasmid cloning / Molecular Biology preferred


• Fluent English skills are mandatory, German skills are a plus


• Team player, organized and diligent personality
