We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager (f/m) 100% - a team player who supports Bachem in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

Your Tasks

• Enhancing, extending and maintaining Bachem’s NCE project pipeline


• Building long-term business relationship with existing and new customers


• Proactively seeking business meetings with prospective clients


• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely business processes and client communication


• Being an advocate for our clients internally.


• Driving engagement and promoting Bachem by participating in conferences, exhibitions and symposia


• Preparing sales contracts and related business / sales documentation


• Documenting all aspects of the customer relationship using established platforms and processes

Your Profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Life Science


• Enthusiastic individual with excellent negotiating skills, combined with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach


• Willing to travel up to 30%


• Fluent in English and German, other languages a plus


• Proficient with standard IT tools (Microsoft Office, etc.), ERP and CRM experience a plus


• A background of professional experience in sales, ideally in a pharmaceutical setting, is a bonus
