We seek to fill the following position in Regensdorf (Zürich), Switzerland  

Application Engineer Rail 100% (m/f)

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements engineering and drafting of specifications for soft and hardware development of measurement equipment deployed in the Rail industry



• Actively support the affiliated teams throughout the entire development phase, also including testing, documentation, validation and quality assurance


• Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application


• Proactively develop skills in end-users' application know-how


• Ensure alignment of product development concepts and roadmaps


• Conduct system validations in the market and for key clients


• Create and maintain technical product documentation


• Assist sales and support in conducting product / training presentations

Desired Skills

• A BSc. / MSc. degree in Electronic Engineering/ Mechatronics /Geomatics is required


• Ideally, you have a background in the precision measurement industry with products deployed in harsh environments


• Affinity for product and application development


• Dynamic professional with some years of work experience


• Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)


• Very good written and spoken command of English (German or other languages is an asset)


• Proven Project Management skills


• Application Programming Experience


• Experience in Rail monitoring devices would be a plus
