At a Glance:

We are excited to offer this role to a passionate, numbers’ driven team player that enthusiastically take ownership of the financial accounting & reporting of our European entities within our disruptive Finance Team. With your proven hands-on experience in IFRS and your high IT affinity, you will take our financial reporting to the next level. In addition to the daily challenges we are facing within our fast-paced environment, you will be the one to push the development and global roll-out of our centralized accounting & reporting processes further. You’ll be part of a future-oriented team that sees Finance as the advanced navigator of our speedboat and that enables you to grow within your role.

Your Mission:

• Ensure the proper financial accounting as well as the timely month-end closing & reporting process for all our European entities in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP


• Independently process daily business (management of general ledger accounts), cooperate with internal subject experts as well as local outsourcing partners and set global guidelines for the group entities


• Contribute to our group consolidation (IFRS) & internal/external reporting


• Perform internal controls and ensure up-to-date process documentation


• Actively challenge, develop and automate our global processes


• Contribute to exciting ad hoc and project tasks in an emerging environment (e.g. IFRS conversion, new market entries, system implementations)

Your Story:

• Great passion and 4+ years of practical experience in international financial accounting & reporting in trade/retail environment (IFRS / general accounting)


• Willingness to take ownership of multiple complex financial topics at a time and having the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and new ways of working


• Ability to consider both, the details of the daily business as well as the big picture within project work related to financial accounting & reporting


• Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills


• Strong expertise in MS Excel, experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus


• Business proficiency in English, German skills are an advantage
