 Skyguide provides air navigation services for Switzerland and certain adjacent parts of neighbouring countries. With its 1500 employees at 14 locations in Switzerland, the company guides some 1,2 million civil and military flights a year safely and efficiently through Europe's most complex airspace. To ensure that we continue to fulfill this task in the future, we are seeking a/an:

Technical Supervisor

YOUR TASK

  • Support of 24/7 Air Traffic Control Operations, especially during severe weather operations (Winter OPS, MCH Warnings, etc.)

  • Monitoring and controlling of Air Traffic Management (ATM)/Communications Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) equipment

  • Manage recovery procedures and initiate system repairs

  • Incident and equipment documentation, tracking and reporting

  • Control of Swiss-wide internal/external technical interventions

  • Monitor the adherence of applicable compliance and safety regulations

  • Identify and manage technical malfunctions and evaluate operational impacts

  • Coordinate with ATM system degradations and decision making

  • Implement new system documentation

  • Take responsibilities within internal and external projects/working groups

YOUR PROFILE

  • Technical degree (ES or higher education) in electronic or network technology

  • At least 5 years in a domain like electronics, networks, data processing, telecoms, high-frequencies (HF) or system management (Monitoring)

  • Familiarized with the PC world (OS windows environment, MS Office, standard applications)

  • Experience in a customer oriented environment (internal and external)

  • Experience or interests in Technical aviation sector (e.g. Air Traffic Control, Airline Operations, Aircraft Maintenance, Air Force, etc.)

  • Willing to work within a 24/7 OPS-Environment and have preferable experience in shifts or irregular hours

  • Fluent in French (oral and written), use to work in English (Level B2 of the European Standard). Good command of German, Italian would be an asset

  • Provide excellent communication and problem solving skills, especially in stressful situations

  • Demonstrate analytical and evaluative capabilities with a very good sense for decision making processes

  • You are passionate about dynamic environments and new challenges
