As a Full Stack Developer you are someone who is passionate about developing web applications, with focus on both the back-end and front-end sides. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our web-apps, including our website. You will contribute to the entire stack, maintaining and working on new Front-End features, alongside collaborating with Data Engineer to expose our data (via our PHP and/or Python Back-End) into our products: the visual Explorer platform, and our APIs.

• 4+ years of work experience as a Full Stack Developer.


• Strong experience with: PHP, Smarty, HTML, CSS, MongoDB.


• Expertise with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.


• Good grasp of React/Angular and the concepts behind it (or similar frameworks).


• Experience building large, modular and maintainable JavaScript codebases.


• Experience with Stripe payment API.


• Experience with Amazon Web Services (e.g. EC2, EBS).


• Familiarity with relational data stores (e.g. PostgreSQL) and SQL.


• Comfortable with Linux, having no problem to set up and maintain web application servers and other back-end resources.


• Ability to translate high-fidelity mockups into complete web pages, with a strong interest in visual and functional polish.


• Strong understanding of the best practices involved in developing web applications


• Fluent English.


• Ability to work autonomously but also be a strong team player.


• Self-motivated, team player comfortable in a small, intense and high-growth start-up environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong educational background: Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science.


• Experience with Nginx and Docker.


• Know-how in managing continuous integration processes.


• Already used tools such as Git (GitHub), Gulp, PHPStorm.


• Ability to identify and resolve performance issues.
