The Management Reporting Group (MRG) is responsible to drive the Novartis divisional management reporting strategy in close alignment with Novratis Group strategy, ensuring delivery of best in class solutions to Novartis Management, allowing efficient analyses of the business performance and delivering on the Novartis Group objectives of Innovation, Growth, and Productivity. Operationally, MRG provides management reporting information to the business across all Novartis Divisions and support FRA Operations to manage Core processes (month end close, Balance Sheet Review, Financial Compliance status reviews etc.). MRG is responsible for maintaining, managing performance reporting, and forecasting tools. This job requires a combination of reasonable accounting background, in Financial Planning and Analysis, and an affinity to reporting and in general IT systems.



The role of the internship will be to support already developed applications that FRA Ops has designed, built, and is maintaining (e.g. SAP BPC, SAP GDWH, QlickSense (Dashboard and-or Mobile), SAP BFC, SharePoint) after an on the Job training. She / He will also have the responsibility to deliver required customer support, enhance the internal communication and document management through our SharePoint platform. Support during Proof of concepts of new Technologies (e.g Blockchain) within the finance environment, enhance current systems / process and enable the Team to manage financial and reporting deadlines and drive productivity via reporting and planning excellence when required.

Minimum requirements

University level degree (Bachelor / Master) in Business Administration / Economics / Finance / Engineering or IT related fields.

We operate in an international environment with English as primary working language. Excellent written and oral skills in English are therefore required. Knowledge of additional language is a plus.

No specific experience is needed, but a plus if:

- Knowledge about Interface challenges between Finance & IT

- Experience in SAP BI/BW BPC Tool

- Analytical ability - Advanced in Microsoft Tools like (SharePoint, Office-Suite) and in QlikSense Dashboarding
