Project Manager Technology (m/f)

for our department Research & Development within our BU „Liquid Food Packaging“


reporting to the R & D Manager based in France (Annemasse)


 


                


Tasks and responsibilities



  • To manage R&D projects.

  • To work for development and maintenance of Liquid Food Packaging UV / EB Offset portfolio.

  • To perform laboratory studies, respecting objectives in term of quality, cost & lead-time.

  • To optimise existing products, or to implement new processes.

  • To be integrated into a R&D laboratory where several BU’s are all working and using same lab equipment’s.

  • Bring technical expertise to LFP team.

  • To implement an action plan, validated with supervisor to answer to a technical problematic

  • To respect deadline.

  • To support internal partner and SCM team (quality control, industrialisation, procurement, planning, etc..)

  • To work with French analytical team and with PS&R team.

  • To design, develop and test new formula or solutions according to specifications or objectives.

  • To develop characterisation or evaluation tests.

  • To ensures rigor of scientific method, reliability and relevance of the experimental results

  • To prepare and join, in some cases, internal or external validations trials.

  • To analyse& document results, ensure traceability (results, recipes, samples).

  • To characterise new raw materials (Photo-Initiators, acrylated resins or monomers, pigments, additives, etc…) according to LFP requirements.

  • To maintain raw material and intermediates stock as lab equipment, for lab purpose according to needs.

  • Can be in contact with supplier in the frame of R&D projects or complain and claim.

  • To participate to the laboratory activities (maintenance of working conditions, 5S, cleaning, metrology, respect of local safety rules).

  • Proposes and implements solutions to improve lab management (maintenance of working conditions, storage, clean workstations, methodology, compliance with QHSE rules, investment in equipment ...).




Qualifications



  • successful completion of studies in chemistry

  • several years of relevant professional experience within the printing ink industry

  • good analytical skill, structured thinking

  • excellent team worker, autonomous, rigorous and well organised

  • bilingual in German and English is a must

  • good knowledge in MS-Office, SAP is an advantage
