Position Summary

 


 


Leads CPW’s Corporate Communications planning and execution globally, guiding teams on the strategic role for communications in corporate campaign development, implementation and measurement, to enhance and protect CPW’s reputation. S/he leads the development of employee's advocacy program, corporate messaging and communications best practices, providing advice and direction on preventing and managing issues to senior leadership and markets. This role also acts as a key point of contact for the markets, advising them on corporate topics and aligning messaging and campaigns.


 


A day in the life of...

 


 



  • Support the development and execution of an integrated Corporate Communications strategy for the company - incorporating internal and leadership communications to support the delivery of the LTP and a strong employee’s advocacy program.                             

  • Develop clear guidance and protocols for issues and crisis management. Responsible for the updating of the company-wide risk matrix.                         

  • Implements Corporate Communications plans to increase CPW awareness and recognition of CPW as a leader in the breakfast cereals category.                                 

  • Develops and nurtures relationships with influential journalists and bloggers in the business, regulatory, and corporate media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline.                               

  • Develops and leads communicating company updates and stories to internal customers and stakeholders.                               

  • Measures and reports on corporate communications effectiveness by defining KPIs, and putting in place monitoring tools (such as a trust barometer) and a global dashboard.                         

  • Oversees the corporate agency and the annual communications budget and ensuring its use is fully maximized.                        

  • "Manages internal digital platforms (Facebook Workplace, SharePoint, Intranet), develops and implements compelling content. Develops and implements corporate communications related content on owned social media, e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, etc                             

  • Oversees the production, distribution and market activation of global corporate communication toolkits, e.g. messaging, internal communications campaigns and strategies, leadership platforms - ensuring messages translate to differing international markets, remaining consistent.                        
     


 


What will make you successful

 


● +5 years’ experience in corporate or internal communications for a similar Organisation (multinational preferred and ideally in FMCG)


● Experience in digital and brand communications an advantage


● Experience in managing internal digital channels (Facebook Workplace)


● Strong understanding of communications strategies and tactics, with proven experience leading global corporate communications campaigns – from idea to measurement


● Strong experience in message development and issues management


● Essential - highly articulate individual with excellent written communications, editing and presentation skills


● Strong project management experience


● English fluency is a MUST (mother tongue or bi-lingual), 1-2 additional languages a bonus
