Coronavirus – ISL is in remote learning and in the process of moving learning back to school.

As other schools in Switzerland, ISL is following safety procedures in response to the coronavirus situation, as instructed by the federal council. From Tuesday 17 March we have moved to remote learning. So far, the experience of the families has been very positive. This was made possible with careful planning, thoughtful execution, and full collaboration between our faculty and technology team. We created the following pages to inform our community on the latest updates, and on how to best achieve success and well-being in their remote learning. For our After-School Activities Programme, we are seeking to employ a dynamic and qualified  

Art Leader

From 21 August 2020

Contact time may vary during the year but is normally between 2 – 3.5 hours a week, depending on the number of activities being active. Below are the planned sessions:

• Y1-Y2 Water Colouring – Tuesdays 15:45-16:45 (5-6 years old)


• Y2-Y4 Art Porcelain Painting – Thursdays 15:45-17:00 (6-8 years old)


• Y5-Y6 Portrait Drawing – Fridays 15:45-16:45 (9-10 years old)

Qualifications and Qualities Required

• A recognized qualification in Art is preferable


• Experienced in teaching students aged 5-10 years


• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate sessions which stimulate and motivate students


• Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural awareness


• Adaptability, flexibility, dynamism and a sense of humour


• Ability to communicate well in English
