PS PM Nutritionals & DH Category Lead

Major Tasks:

• Agile and timely project leadership to deliver category projects on time, on budget meeting with success criteria.


• Develop scenario/risk-based project planning in order to meet market needs.


• Facilitate the risk assessments of projects and define mitigation plans together with project teams.


• Escalate issues as needed to ensure course correction prior to off-track events occurring.


• Manages the project budgets including all internal & external costs and resources.


• Provide input/ guidance into business development opportunities such as procurement led projects.


• Provide input/guidance into "feasibility stage" NPDs led by PSSDs.


• Coach Project Leaders/Managers and develop leadership skills.

Who are you:

PhD or master’s degree in science, Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 7-10 years of consumer goods industry experience with proven track record in leading individuals and teams in cross-functional international environments as well as achieving superior results as project leader.

Position requires a person having knowledge of legal, regulatory, and GMP requirements in an OTC drug and/or nutritional supplement environment.

Having knowledge of the functions that support the business would be beneficial and include: Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, External Manufacturing, Business Development, Regulatory, Quality, Packaging, Procurement and Marketing.

• Substantial project management experience and proven project leadership.

• Out of the box thinker who is passionate about questioning the status quo and coming up with creative solutions that benefit our PS organization and Bayer overall

• Self-starter mentality with high degree of initiative and excellent follow-up skills along with strong analytical and problem- solving skills.


• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to articulate project plans.


• Strong customer-focus. Proven ability to think and sell conceptually as well as influence others.


• Strong ability to drive for results and deal with ambiguity.


• Strong teamwork skills with ability to work in cross – functional, global teams.


• Excellent conflict resolution skills.


• Proven ability to manage high amounts of complexity.


• Fluent in Business English – multi lingual is plus.
