For this exciting new opportunity, you will collaborate with our Location Management Team as well as a number of other internal and external partners. We are looking for a strongly customer-oriented person with the necessary technical understanding and work experience within the field of facility management.

 

Your new responsibilities



  • Guarantee a high availability and quality of services in coordination with the Facility Manager (including cleaning, reception, mail, beverages, employee restaurant, vending machines), prioritize accordingly

  • Negotiate rental agreements for our location in Switzerland

  • Monitor and coordination of real estate related processes

  • Manage the logistic related to the construction or refurbishment of buildings including moving to temporarily locations and final movements

  • Act in alignment with Siemens Real Estate (SRE) and the different business units

  • Be eager to (changing) customer requirements showing innovation and initiative when it comes to new ideas

  • Budget Site Management and optimize the budget spent in Real Estate


Your skills and experience



  • Higher education with technical background

  • The perfect candidate for this role has a strong competence in facility management and/or site management, ideally with previous work experience in a similar role

  • The future site manager should be a versed and experienced negotiator and used to communicate with various seniority levels.

  • You are an open-minded person with a strong sense of ownership. You work independently, take initiative and besides your natural curiosity you question given processes and structures, aiming for constant improvement.

  • You master the definition and implementation of new initiatives and strive to find the best solution for partners and customers

  • You have a strong service-orientation and you always take care of close relationship with colleagues, customers and contractors.

  • Full proficiency in German and English is mandatory for this position
