The Director of Human Resources, Europe leads the human resources function in support of General Managers and commercial associates across Europe including Switzerland, United Kingdom (UK), Ireland, Nordics, Italy, Portugal, Spain, France and Germany. This is a complex and dynamic role that has a broad scope, touching all parts of the business and is integral to developing the HR team to achieve maximum contribution across the region.
The HR leader serves as consultant to Commercial VP of Europe and as a leader to a regional team of HR professionals. This role works across the commercial organization in these geographies, leading Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) to develop and execute HR strategy in support of the commercial business objectives including providing expertise and guidance in the areas of culture and change management, strategic coaching, talent assessment and development, succession planning, performance management, and organizational design. In addition, the Leader collaborates with Centre of Excellence (CoE) functions within Beckman Coulter Dx and regional Danaher to ensure the full range of people related processes (Recruitment, Talent Development, People Management, Performance Management, Learning Management and Compensation Management) are delivered with excellence. In addition, the role oversees activities supporting Diversity & Inclusion, employee relations, compliance, HR operational activities, local initiatives, and engagement.
