For one of our clients, a metal trading company based in Zug, we are seeking to recruit an Operator.
Your Responsibilities
Execute daily operational activities and liaise with the financial department and provide them with the necessary data.
Monitor vessel progress during voyages and provide regular updates internally where required In contact with forwarders and shipping agents
Performance of all necessary chartering functions as applicable and check freight calculations against C/P and arrange timely payment
Maintain a strong electronic filing system of all operations
Ensure that the CTRM is updated regularly and always reflects the latest information.
Your Profile
Fluent in German and English is mandatory
Minimum of 3-5 yearsexperience in Operations for a metal trading company
Excellent understanding of shipping documents and financial instruments
Strong understanding of the different types of financial instruments and shipping documents
Ideally available on short notice
