Data Analytics Engineer (m/f/d)

For our international partner, Roche Diagnostics International Ltd. based in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a qualified and motivated Data Analytics Engineer for 6 months. Extension is an option.


Tasks



  • Develop and implement data collection systems and develop and monitor KPI’s to support the production teams to strategically steer and continuously improve quality improvement initiatives

  • Acquire data from primary and secondary (internal and external) sources and maintain data warehouse. Optimize statistical efficiency and data quality in close collaboration with the production teams

  • Provide statistical knowhow for the establishment, maintaining and continuously improving the processes in close collaboration with engineering specialists

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends of patterns in complex big data sets to improve yield, quality and customer satisfaction

  • Provide the data analysis and be a key participant in the manufacturing problem solving process to ensure a fact based and data driven decision making


Must Haves



  • Minimum a Bachelor in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Data Science. Graduates can also apply for this position as they have experience in the fields mentioned

  • At least 2 years worked as a Data Analystics Engineer or a similar job

  • Advanced programming skills (R, Phyton, SQL, Shiny, Matlab)

  • English fluent in written and spoken

  • Communicative with Interfaces experience

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy in big data sets

  • Technical skills with data models, database design, data mining and segmentation techniques and experience using statistical packages

  • You are someone who wants to influence your own development

  • You have a passion for extracting conclusions out of big data sets and transform it into fact based decisions in an In-vitro Diagnostics production/operations environment


Nice to Haves



  • Ability to be proactive and take responsibility

  • Roche or Pharma experience

  • Understanding the manufacturing process
