Senior Manager, Digital Content Operations

Job Description


The Digital Content Operations Lead will deliver a global content operations strategy and plan for HCP digital products that focuses on customer outcomes and engagement. You’ll be a key contributor to the central product team and the country representatives, ultimately responsible for ensuring that best-in-class content is delivered that drives the adoption of a new global digital product and meets the needs of customers.


He/she will develop and oversee the processes, the digital ecosystem and capabilities of an integrated content strategy that encompasses editorial governance and metrics to be applied and templated in local countries. He/she closely cooperates with global, regional and local teams to identify required content needs. This will be in the form of defining standards, playbooks, foundational performance and qualitative metrics to drive consistency across the globe in the development and deployment of content within the product.


This individual will collaborate with Marketing, Field Force Excellence, Medical, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance to establish content strategies and capabilities that drive customer engagement through the digital product. He/she will be the content marketing expert, driving change, innovation and positioned as internal subject matter expert in the area of Content for global digital products.


Principal Accountabilities:



  • Enables structured content creation capabilities through the implementation of models, processes and guidelines to enable Marketing and MCE functions to create and publish content to the platform that meets user requirements.

  • Works with Marketing and MCE on developing an overarching content framework for all TAs and personas. Designs and manages a process linking approved content in Veeva vault to seamlessly be published on the product platform that is aligned to the overarching content framework and localization at a country level.

  • Close collaboration with the regional and local brand teams, Medical, MCM, Field Force effectiveness, Commercial to identify business content requirements.  Overlay the business content requirements with customers need.

  • Definition, in collaboration with Global D&A, of meaningful and measurable KPI ‘s and metrics concerning content performance as part of the broader product KPI dashboard. Monitoring of those, taking conclusions and providing advice on possible actions.

  • Communicate, educate and train internal stakeholders. Ensure right level of adoption and usage of the capabilities within the organisation. Continuous improvement of content deployment processes and performance.


Qualifications



  • 7+ years experience in a lead digital content role either agency or in-house

  • Knowledge of digital psychology and how content contributes to a digital product’s “stickiness”

  • Deep knowledge of content lifecycle: Creation, translation localization,

  • Expertise of global program and management of international projects

  • Deep understanding of digital content marketing principles

  • Baseline understanding of standardised content and metadata taxonomies

  • Expertise on-page SEO principles

  • JIRA, Confluence experience necessary

  • Previous pharma industry experience highly desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Psychology, or any other related field

  • English mandatory
