ABOUT THE JOB

The person holding this position will own an extensive network of vendors, oversee the purchasing (mainly ad hoc) of technical Fixtures & Fittings (and Services) for Retail Architecture. Your main duties will be the following:

• Choosing the appropriate supplier to purchase from (from a Global footprint)


• Conducting industry research, meeting with salespeople and comparing to know their products and prices


• Negotiating with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company


• Managing supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness


• Applying the compliance highlighted by Internal Audit


• Periodically reviewing suppliers and launching improvement programs where required


• Research on new elements, materials, solutions which are UpToDate


• Research on new Services interconnected to Retail Architecture allowing to improve the visibility and transparency of it


• Proposing distinctive, intelligent and elaborate technical solutions that consider both commercial and financial objectives


• Pursuing impactful Retail Architecture, supporting positioning of Swarovski brand, improving Retail KPI’s


• Collecting and identifying relevant information from major stakeholders and the Retail industry


• Furniture & Fixture catalogue creation / updates in SAP (global)


• Being the reference for RA Architecture, shaping the image of the department by putting the technicality at the centre


• Taking full leadership on projects and assignments


• Being the Ambassador of the brand (internally and externally)

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a motivated talent, who brings along the following background:

• University degree/ Education in traditional engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, civil, or manufacturing engineering


• Min. 3 years of professional experience in procurement engineering and in furniture design & manufacturing


• Passionate and educated about Architecture and Design


• Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating contracts and quotations with Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers


• Able to integrate technical knowledge with business acumen


• Able to analyze bills of material and drawings to understand key requirements


• Proficient in SAP system (fixtures catalogue creation and update)


• Technical knowledge in manufacturing Fixtures & Furniture, In Store and Window Elements


• Technical knowledge of Industry availability of materials and finishes (technical sourcing)


• Technical experience in realizing Facades and Architectural spaces


• Possess consumer service orientation (translate in in-store experience)


• Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a pressure


• Fluent in English
