Our Sales team support our customers by providing clinical information about products, educational information, clinical training programs and resources. We support healthcare providers and healthcare systems meet the goals of the patients in their communities.

As a new addition to our our oncology sales team in west Switzerland and reporting to the Sales Associate Director, we are looking for a field-based Customer Engagement Specialist (CEM) (Full-time, indefinite).


On this position you will represent our Company’s Oncology Business Line as the Market Leader in the immune-oncology segment.


THE PRIMARY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:



  • Achieve agreed sales, productivity and performance targets within the west Switzerland sales territory.

  • Take care of the customer liaison and the required support in order to meet the internal and external customer expectations by executing effectively the defined marketing and sales strategy of the CBL Oncology.

  • Independent planning of visits according to the given customer segmentation (A/B/C) and visit frequency in accordance with our Sales force objectives.

  • Deliver individual sales and customer centric activities and report commercial development on a monthly base to the Sales Manager.

  • Maintain, expand and address needs of the customer base in private practices, hospitals and clinics.

  • Ensure competent, professional and timely product support including handling of customer inquiries.

  • Maintain and build strong relationships with the targeted customer group through consultation, advice and events and establish a territory key opinion leader development plan.

  • Leverage personal sales and operating expense budgets to achieve brand growth through initiatives aligned with marketing strategy and our company’s compliance requirements and guidelines.

  • Effective territory administration, including maintenance of record systems, daily communication with administrative systems and timely processing of business expenses.

  • Effective communication with territory colleagues and relevant members of other teams (e.g. other business units, marketing) in order to understand, drive and maximize results.

  • Provide strategic and marketing intelligence input to facilitate effective brand, sales - and budget planning.

  • Participate in national and international meetings/congresses as well as educational events and training courses. Regular and independent self-study to meet market needs and keep up to date on new data and market developments.

  • Report any complaint (e.g., Adverse Event or Quality complaint) within 24h from the receipt to the Regulatory Affairs department in accordance to the valid local SOPs.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Technical Skills:



  • Life Science Degree or equivalent relevant Degree.

  • Paramedic/nursing qualification or country relevant medical sales accreditation (SHQA).

  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in pharmaceutical environment with a proven, successful selling track record.

  • Knowledge of pharma industry and its changing environment, ideally in oncology.

  • Demonstrable high achiever in same or other relevant fields.

  • French as mother tongue, advanced level in English and intermediate German is required.
