What's the role?


With a team of engineers specialized in development, testing, approval and product care, drive the product innovation of the Hilti Cast-in Anchor channel business. This business is a verticalized start-up within the Business Unit Anchors, and requires end-to-end value chain understanding. The role involves collaboration with internal partner in Research and Development as well as external institutes and industry associations.

What does the role involve?


Establish and maintain a common understanding of roles and responsibilities in the team. Coach your team members in their respective role, both from a functional and a personal development perspective. Question the status quo and develop the full innovative potential of the team. Always at the forefront of innovation and technology in your area, bring in new ideas and inspire the team. As part of the Cast-in leadership team, take ownership for the business as a whole by closely aligning all activities in the development team with marketing and supply.

What you need is:



  • Master’s degree in engineering. PhD an asset.

  • Several years of work experience in mechanical development, ideally complemented with first leadership experience for example as a (technical) project leader.

  • Experience in the Cast-In business as well as anchor channel design a strong asset

  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, paired with a hands-on mentality and a passion for customers

  • Distinctive leadership skills, excellent English communication skills and the passion to work in teams

  • Desire to go beyond
