Position Overview


Responsibilities


1. To support the Lending Unit Head in achieving his objectives


2. Assisting WM CA’s in all their credit-related needs, i.e.:



  • To support the CAs to determine client needs and the feasibility of a credit transaction

  • To support the CAs to structure the transaction to make it acceptable from both commercial and risk standpoints

  • To formalize transactions in a detailed Credit Report

  • To support the Lending Unit Head to get deals approved by BRM Geneva, through discussions / conf calls

  • To coordinate approval implementation with BRM

  • Assist in the implementation of Globe R and usage of GlobeR

  • To follow up on approval credit approval conditions

  • To have all the relevant documentation finalized and signed, in liaison with legal

  • To ensure timely closing of Annual Reviews

  • To support the Lending Unit Head to ensure smooth and organized problem loan / workout management with legal, coverage and BRM


3. To co-manage the guarantee issuance process at DBS


4. To be a member within the Lending Team to foster knowledge sharing, development, personal development and behavior in line with DB values & beliefs


5. To provide mutual back-up to other team member(s) while travelling or on leave


6. To identify and improve processes (locally or within  other Booking centre) for the Lending product that require enhancement / adjustment in order to create an efficient and effective ‘risk-averse’ environment


Coverage



  • CAs based at DBS and at DBAG KSA or from other locations if  related to a product offered by DBS for the sub GMTs covered

  • Specifically following teams are covered 


Emerging Market: MEA. Booked at DBS and DBAG KSA Emerging Market: APAC Booked at DBS Any other sub GMT  should there be a change in the coverage model ( ie Zurich CAs)
