Our New Projects department has an immediate opening for a Team Leader Airframe Design and Systems Integration.

What you do:

• Functional daily management of the Airframe Design and Systems Integration Team within the New Projects Department


• Technical oversight of all design activities throughout a development program, from requirements capture until certification and entry-into-service


• Technical direction and signatory for airframe design and systems integration groups for the entire aircraft


• Management of all aircraft design data (EBOM) required for aircraft manufacturing, assembly, certification and maintenance


• Provide and ensure constructive inter-disciplinary interaction across multiple departments and business functions


• Lead continuous product and process improvements, including weight and cost savings on airframe and systems

What you bring:

• Bachelor or Masters in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on aircraft structures design, complemented by a detailed lightweight aerospace airframe and systems integration design experience


• A minimum of 15 years' experience working in the field of aerospace structures development with specific focus in metallic and composite primary and secondary structures


• Proven and successful experience in leadership and management of large multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams (20+ people)


• Sound knowledge in the application of modern manufacturing technologies for metal and composite structures


• Fluent in both German and English (min. C1)
