We are looking for a JAVA Developer to come on board and support our operation in Zürich.

Responsibilities
Drive renewal of the current solution be it software or even hardware where required
The aim is to migrate from locally installed oracle databases to "db as a service", from Sun Solaris to Linux and to migrate to new infrastructure at the same time
The current solution is globally deployed on approximately 100 servers including development, test and production systems
Combine a continuous reengineering and improvement process where possible
Administration of internal processes and tools to ensure quality and security
Oversee infrastructure provisioning and the global solution inventory
Requirements
Experience as engineer and developer in a globally distributed team
Financial services IT background, preferably in Financial Crimes/AML a plus
Java development, ORACLE database and data analysis skills
Excellent communication skills and experience in liaising with other IT teams
Methodology know how on how to ensure that project deliverables meet industry best practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
Understanding of a broad range of platforms, technologies and tools, specifically Java, UNIX/Linux, Oracle, GitHub, TeamCity, Jira, Confluence
A flexible, resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward
Able to multitask and work on different projects in parallel, accurate and focused on deliverables
