Director Technical TV Development & Operations (f/m) 100%Glattpark (Opfikon - Zürich)Duties and responsibilities:
Lead development of Sunrise's TV platform and apps to provide required functionality to support current and planned TV products in accordance with TV strategy
Manage different stakeholders within and outside the company
Ensure quality, stability and efficiency of the TV products
Expert function / consultancy for Marketing and operational units
Continuous improvement of approval processes, test concept and test environment
Provide technical project management and coordinate technical teams and vendors
Release management for components of the TV product
Ensure up-to-date and complete documentation
Conduct proof of concepts
Provide 3rd level support and problem resolution in conjunction with vendors
Plan and manage investments in areas of responsibility
Qualifications:
Engineering degree
Proven people management skills
Ideally has experience in management of complex OTT TV projects
4-5 years proven experience in designing and developing TV solutions - IPTV and OTT
Deep technical understanding of TV solutions - platform architecture and components, video streaming, Apps
Familiar with relevant technologies used in the TV area
Follows trends and best practices in video solutions, is acquainted with major TV vendors
Initiative, flexible, structured, works well under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in verbal and written English
